For startups and product companies
Building
a product.
From first concept to a product in production. One team through the whole thing, no handoff between design and engineering.
Who it's for
Hardware startups with funding or momentum, and product companies adding a new line. Consumer electronics, connected devices, tools, wearables, home and outdoor tech. You bring the idea. We bring the process that gets it built.
How it runs
-
01
Discovery
Architecture first. How the product works, where the electronics sit, what it will take to build, before anyone commits to a form.
You hold
An architecture, a feasibility read, and a plan for the stages after.
-
02
Definition
Industrial design, with engineering in the room. Form, materials and finish developed on the architecture, so the concept is already buildable when it's chosen.
You hold
A defined product you can put in front of investors and a manufacturer.
-
03
Development
Mechanical engineering, with design in the room. Detailed CAD, prototypes, DFM and testing, with the designer reviewing throughout so nothing gets lost on the way to tooling.
You hold
Production-ready CAD and drawings, a BOM, and a package suppliers can quote from.
-
04
Production
Supplier selection, tooling, samples and the first production run, with your manufacturer or one from our network. We stay on it as long as you need.
You hold
A product people can buy, and everything needed to make the next batch without us.
How we work with you
Simon, a mechanical engineer and industrial designer, leads every stage. A designer and an engineer are involved from early on and through to the end, with the balance shifting stage by stage. Specialists join when the work needs them. You make the calls.

Questions
Earlier than you think. It's cheapest before the concept is fixed. We also pick up projects mid-way.
Yes, design and engineering on several, including some of the biggest hardware campaigns on the platform. We know what has to be true before you launch and what breaks after.
Cyprus (EU), with a team in the US, Europe, the UK and Hong Kong. Strong overlap with US East working hours, and we travel to be on site when a project needs it.
Fixed fee or time and materials, whichever fits the project. Quoted stage by stage, or up front as a range for the whole thing. You'll have a number after the first call.
Not in-house. We can introduce you to electronics and firmware partners we've worked with before, and we work closely with whichever team you choose.
Yes. We work with your manufacturer. If you don't have one yet, we introduce you to one from our network or source one for the project.
Yes. We'll tell you honestly what needs to change to make it buildable, then do it.
